HAPPY ST PATTY’S DAY

March 17, 2009 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

Well, today is that famous binge drinking day we all know as St. Patrick’s Day!!!! As for me, I will be staying away from the bars and Irish pubs and hopefully steering clear of any drunk drivers as well. Read more

Dog Drama

February 18, 2009 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

Well, yesterday was definitely a harrowing experience!!!!! I had to take Brownie into the clinic in the morning for a scheduled spay. She was in heat the last 2 weeks and I definitely didn’t want to go through that again. I read online that there are a few associated risks with getting your dog fixed during or soon after a heat since their blood vessels are more open and prone to excessive bleeding.  Read more

Zoo Day Trip

Woo-hoo, Superbowl is coming up soon and you have to know by now who’s playing…..the CARDINALS!!!! If they win, then my conspiracy theory might just be true. Haha, let’s totally disregard the fact that they changed quarterbacks. The game was yesterday but I didn’t get a chance to watch it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

January 8, 2009 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

Okay I’m a few days late, but HAPPY NEW YEAR…hope everyone’s is off to a great start! Mine has been pretty hectic thus far but pretty good nonetheless. Of course, I’ve been working a lot and I recently also had family in town visiting for the holidays, which needless to say can become very stressful. Especially when your line of work is a touchy subject! I had to hide a lot of things also..dildoes, pics, tapes, etc… I don’t even want to go into how stressful it got at times! I’m just glad that it’s finally over. I love my family but I’m sure everyone can relate.

Countdown to 2009

December 28, 2008 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

Well, Christmas is finally over (thankfully), and in a few days we will be celebrating the very beginning of 2009!!! I think I am still in denial that the year is almost over! I don’t have any plans for NYE yet, but if I do anything it will probably be cl0se to home since I’m scared of driving on that particular night every year. Last night, I went out with my girl for dinner and in the 30 miles I had to drive home from her place, I saw 4 cars pulled over and getting sobriety tests from highway patrol. That’s a cop on average less than every 10 miles. Scary. Tis’ the Season!

Rocked by AC/DC!!!!

December 12, 2008 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

Okay, it is official…..AC/DC is now the best concert I have ever been to! Those guys may be getting up there in age, but they still kick major ass live! They were even on stage tuning their own instruments beforehand! Angus Young wore his famous schoolboy outfit and did that trademark hopping move across the stage while he played!

Another Sunday

December 7, 2008 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

I haven’t been up to much since my last entry, besides the usual..mostly work. I slept over at Angie’s house on Wednesday after we went to Kona Grill for Reverse Happy Hour where they have half priced sushi rolls, appetizers, and drinks. I guess the food was alright, typical B-grade sushi rolls, and the calamari was okay too.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

December 3, 2008 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

I finally let 3 of the puppies go yesterday, the two boys and the youngest girl. Let me tell you, having 2 puppies is so much easier than 5! The best thing is that I can pretty much see those 3 anytime I want since I know the people they went to. I think I have one or two prospective homes for the remaining 2 so I am not stressing about it.

I got my Christmas tree up finally also! It’s a fake 6-foot evergreen but looking at it still makes me feel all festive and fuzzy inside.  I felt pretty lame wrapping up some empty boxes to make fake presents so I could do a photo set next to the tree, but you can’t set the scene without presents under the tree! It was fun decorating though. I even put on some corny holiday music while I put the ornaments up. Look:

xmas Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I still miss the smell of a real evergreen but at least theres no maintenance and pine needles to clean up. I haven’t even put a Christmas tree up in years, so it was fun.

Tonight, my friend Angie is “forcing” me to sleep over at her house. Haha, I shouldn’t say “force” but I promised her I would sleep over at her new apartment when she moved in and that was months ago. She’s been ragging on me about it ever since. I’m not really one for sleeping over at people’s houses, but according to Angie’s logic, since she has slept over at my house countless times, I apprently owe her. She gets really excited about stuff like that. Haha, so girly. I, on the other hand, hate taking showers at other people’s houses, and she has 3 cats and 2 ferrets…neither of which has a smell I  care for. But who am I to talk, I just opened my house up to a pregnant dog then 5 puppies! Plus it makes her happy. We’re going to Kona Grill for drinks and appetizers when she gets off work too….and you know I can never turn down eating out with friends….especially at Kona Grill! I love their seared ahi!

I guess it’s just back to work for the rest of the week. I want to shoot another video and photo set today before I go out with my girlfriend, so I definitely have things to keep me busy. ;-)

Thank goodness for Dayquil

Blah, I started to feel the onset of a cold last night and I woke up this morning with a stuffy head and scratchy throat. I decided to stay home today to prevent getting my friends sick at work. Besides, who really wants a lapdance from a dancer with a cold. Not me, at least. I have so much stuff to take care of at home anyways, mostly for the website. I’m planning on shooting some stuff today after I set up the fake xmas tree for a set. I plan on getting a real tree in a week or two, but a plastic evergreen will do for today. Have I mentioned that I can’t believe Christmas is right around the corner?!

Other than that, I need to run some errands later in the day and I have a cam show tonight. I can’t wait till 3 of the pups leave tomorrow for their new homes. The little bastards are drving me crazy! It will be sad to see them go but I am looking forward to getting my house back. Is this what they mean when they say your whole life is going to the dogs???

Thanksgiving and other News

November 30, 2008 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

It’s already the Sunday after Thanksgiving, but I still feel like I’m full. The holiday turned out great! I hung out across the street with the neighbors and we had our little Turkey Day potluck. We had turkey, stuffing, yams, ham, mashed potatoes, cornbread, a spinach and pecan salad, all kinds of appetizers, and a few desserts including pumpkin pie, of course.

Well, THANKSGIVING is tomorrow! Which, in case you haven’t been paying attention, is my FAVORITE holiday!! I got invited across the street to the neighbor’s feast, which is always cool since they’re all about the same age. Apparently, there are going to be quite a number of people there, and I am also bringing a friend that didn’t originally have plans.

Getting Old

November 21, 2008 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

Finally, my birthday has come and passed. A few of my girls and I went out on Wednesday night for sushi before we hit up the Scottsdale bars. I’m not too fond of partying in Scottsdale, mostly due to high priced drinks and fake snobs…but most of my friends love it, so I had to make everyone happy.

Monday Blues…not really

November 17, 2008 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

Today started off as a typical Monday. Went into work, where it was a “typical” Monday, pretty dead but not as many girls as usual. I was about to get off stage right when they played a house song and the bouncer brought up a chair and one of my girls grabbed my hand and said I couldn’t get off stage yet. As customary fashion when it is one of our birthdays, I had to sit while I got boobs in my face and faces in my crotch! LOL….What benefits there are to working there!!! I was actually pretty embarassed but of course it was good times. :) Big ta-ta’s in the face are always fun….haha, kinda reminds me of how little mine are!

I’m not working tomorrow, which is why all of this happened today. Techinically though, I was born in Taipei, Taiwan on the 18th and it is the 18th right now over there. Or I guess if you want to look at it another way, it was actually the 17th in the USA when I was born in Taiwan on the 18th….whatever.

Yay, I am officially in my “mid 20’s”! I feel like I just graduated high school! I think my older sister was the first person to tell me that everything goes way quicker after 21.

I need to get my butt back in school! I keep saying it….but my goal is to have a degree before thirty. I guess that sounds a little late compared to how most people picture their college path, but I am having a lot of fun and still feel like I am growing and learning a great deal in the meantime. Besides, 30 is the new 20 right?????

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Happenings and how it all began…

September 24, 2008 by Isis Lee · 2 Comments

Wow, I can’t believe that it’s almost October! Turns out I’m not going to Hawaii anymore due to outside circumstances, or rather I should say that the trip has been postponed to March or April sometime. I guess everything happens for a reason though, since Brownie is now going to have puppies and a two week trip to Hawaii in the middle of all that would definitely complicate things. I’ll get there soon enough.

Cleaning sucks!

September 19, 2008 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

I spent the last 2 days at home just getting shit done, mostly cleaning. It’s amazing how quickly my house gets messy. It feels really nice when you’re done with a thorough house-cleaning though, so I am reveling in the experience right now. :)

More Drunken Debauchery and I’m going to be a Grandma!

September 17, 2008 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

My friend, Angie, and I went out last night to a little dive bar that holds karaoke everynight. It was the 3rd or 4th time hanging out there since it’s literally right around the corner from my house, about a 5 minute walk. Angie had made plans to sleep over at my house since we renewed our dancer licenses downtown this morning.

Burglary and a found Cheagle

September 7, 2008 by Isis Lee · Leave a Comment

It’s Sunday, which means I have a cam show in about 3 hours…then it’s off to work at the club this afternoon. It has been getting better everyday so everyone has been in better spirits. (I hate listening to bitching and complaining!)

On Thursday night, a friend slept over since we had some dinner and a few drinks at my house. The next morning, my neighbor, Josh, from across the street rang my doorbell at 6 AM! He was just leaving for work when he noticed a tall skinny black dude standing in my driveway. I guess as soon as he saw Josh, he walked up to my front door so Josh figured for a moment that it might be someone I know. He got in his car and started driving to work, but when he got down the street, his instincts told him to go back since it all seemed a little strange. When he got back to my driveway, the black dude was gone but my friend’s truck window had been smashed in! Josh then called the cops and rang my doorbell. Three Phoenix cops showed up and took a report and witness statement. Then they dusted my friend’s truck door and lifted a few prints. They said they would probably not get the guy right away but could use our info if more people started reporting the same incident. All in all, the guy got off with a digital camera and an ipod. Not too bad, but I bet my friend won’t leave valuables in his car anymore. His apartment got broken into a few months ago too! How lame. I, at least, feel a little secure in knowing that my neighbors have my back. Josh was even late for work so he could talk to the cops for us. He seemed pretty amped about catching the guy and said he would identify him in a line-up if he had to. Just some crackhead probably.

And in other news, my crazy dog loving ass has brought another addition into my family. Another one of my friends called me and told me about a little dog she had been seeing around her neighborhood for a few days. Turns out one of her neighbors had moved and just left the poor thing behind!!!!! Who the hell does that???!  She is about two years oold, according to another neighbor that had known the dog for a while, and apparently her name is Brownie. I decided not to change her name since she already comes to it.  She is about 12 lbs and looks to be a chihuahua/beagle mix. She has the same eyes as Lucky and aboout the same sweet demeanor but I’m guessing by her size and head shape that she is also part Chihuahua…..so she is a Cheagle (or Bea-wa-wa). Here is a pic:

Brownie Burglary and a found Cheagle

Seriously, who could ever leave that!!!?????? I swear, that is it though! No more dogs!!!! I had been thinking of getting a chihuahua or another beagle for a while, so this is the perfect solution!!! She is just full of love too and you can see how grateful she is to be off the streets!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!!!
