Food, Glorious Food

November 17, 2008 by Isis Lee

Well the weekend is off to a pretty good start. I just worked yesterday, then went to dinner with my girl, Angie….so of course we had to get…..OYSTERS! It had been a while anyways.

We went to our favorite authentic Mexican seafood restaurant where none of the employees even speak english, but dinner was pretty awesome! I had shishkabobs with shrimp, peppers, scallops, octopus, and fish. A lot of people cower at the thought of eating octopus, but I love the stuff! My dad used to cook it on the barbecue, wrapped in foil, when I was a kid. I guess you have to grow up eating weird stuff to really like it. A lot of people can actually tell you how old they were when they first tried sushi. I, on the other hand, have no idea when the first time was.  I was way too young to even remember. One of my biggest annoyances is people, expecially kids, that are way picky eaters. I guess it’s just the way certain people are, but I don’t think I ever went through a phase where I didn’t want to try or eat certain things. Maybe it’s just because I’m Asian. Haha. You know how we like to eat everything. :-P

ANYWAYS…..

Popped in for my cam show this morning but nobody showed up within the first 15 minutes so decided to get on here instead. I’m hitting up work at 2 this afternoon for a few hours, then probably having a nice dinner at home (swordfish), and catching up some more online.

My birthday is in 2 days….YIKES!
