Guns and Dim Sum

It’s Sunday and I’ve been working at the club everyday since this past Wednesday. It’s been pretty consistent, not bad but not exceptionally good. Although, I shouldn’t complain.

I did a dynamo cam show on Thursday night with all the crazy toys and I was having so much fun, I actually went over an hour without knowing it. We actually ran out of tape since we record every show. I went to the Scottsdale Gun Club yesterday morning to practice with my 9 mm. I had never been there before and I was surprised how big and nice it is. They have a VIP members private range called the Titanium Lounge and you actually have to scan your eyeball before the doors slide open for you. Isn’t that nuts???? I had only seen that in Mission Impossible and maybe on television before. Apparently you need to pay 10 grand for a lifetime VIP membership or 250 a month to have access to that range. I wonder what the other amenties include.  Maybe your own private strippers while you fire off some rounds???? JK. I’m getting way better at handling my 9 mm. I think I went through about 100 rounds with my gun, then tried out a friend’s 40 mm…which was sweeeeeet. I think I know what my next gun is going to be.

I had some dim sum for brunch yesterday also before I headed to work. MMMMM, I rarely get to eat dim sum so it was a real treat. I discovered a little Chinese place near my house that serves it 7 days a week and it was my 2nd time there. For those of you who don’t know what dim sum is, it is bascially a Chinese brunch style meal that consists of several small dishes of steamed dumplings, vegetables, and several types of meat and seafood. Usually at Chinese restaurants, servers will walk around with little carts displaying these little dishes in steamer baskets, which you pick and choose from….

  I LOVE the stuff. When I was a kid, our family, including my grandparents and aunts, uncles, and cousins would gather at a popular restaurant in Hawaii’s Chinese Cultural Center on weekends to enjoy it together. It’s pretty hard to find in Arizona though, and even harder to find someone that wants to go with me.  

 I’m going to work again in a few hours, then getting some cleaning done at home tonight. I’m taking tomorrow off to shoot at a new location. We met these 2 guys that own 3000 square feet  voyeur house in town and they told my photographer we could use it if he shot their girls also. FINALLY!!! Some new sets!!! I hear they have a pool table so that will be a cool shoot. I’ll post some pics tomorrow afterwards.

I can’t wait for summer to end! I hope everyone is enjoying theirs though!
