Fun at the Dog Park

Nothing really exciting going on today. Just went to work, which was dead, but the day went along fine. One of my friends gave me a really great compliment today, which kinda made my day. It’s funny how sometimes the smallest thing can make you smile all day.

I took the dogs to the dog park after I got home. There were a lot of people and dogs there! More than I think I’ve ever seen. Lucky got the crap scared out of him when he was just walking along, minding his own beagle business when two other bigger dogs that were chasing each other collided into him from the back. He yelped pretty loud and acted like he was hurt when I came over to see him. He was totally fine though, just a big drama queen. There were A LOT of dachsunds also, and they all seemed to converge into a little weiner herd together, barking at all the other non-hotdogs. LOL.

I’m pretty tired tonight and I’m going back to the trenches tomorrow. It’s going to be the beginning of the weekend for a lot of people but my work week is barely getting started.  My friend Denelle invited me to go out on her boat this weekend but I’m just going to be working to get some funds together for the end of the month, which seems to be approaching quickly.
